I am unapologetically BLACK. If that triggers you, go take a look in the mirror. Ask yourself why, then ask yourself why again. Keep asking until you reach the root issue, then deal accordingly. I came across a wonderfully written piece by Virginia Rosenberg that I felt compelled to share. It’s extremely important for white people to carry the torch in the eradication of racism. It is not the duty of the oppressed to change the minds of their oppressor, for they must change their own minds. Nor should we need to appeal to them from a point of humanity, because they don’t see our humanity to begin with.
